Seeing Not Seeing

Sometimes when we are very sure of what we are seeing,
or if we are very certain of the way we are seeing it,
it is ordinary and often the case that there is an obstruction across our eye
so close that it might make things seem to be true that perhaps are not.
Certainly about mystery is ill-advised as there are so many obstructions.
We may never be able to identify or remove every overlay of perception in our vision.
May we be humble enough to recognize that we may not be seeing things as they are.
